Are we doomed? Or are there tools we can use to protect our organizations from costly and embarrassing cyber-attacks? Victor Gascón, a cyber-security engineer with 40 years experience in most aspects of IT, thinks we have some under-utilized weapons in our defensive arsenal. He refers to them as “The Three Cyber-Security Shields.” Victor Gascón is a graduate of the Rochester Institute of Technology and is currently contracting as a Cyber-Security Engineer at Blue Cross Blue Shield of SC. He spent 20 years in various aspects of IT at SCANA Corp., now part of Dominion Energy.
